Industrial drive and energy storage systems are engineered against the standards applicable to each project's jurisdiction and application. Certification documentation for a specific equipment configuration is provided as part of project delivery, on request.
Standards we engineer to
Depending on the project, applicable requirements may include Canadian, North American and international standards for electrical safety, rotating machines, enclosure protection and energy storage installation. The applicable set is defined during engineering — by jurisdiction, application and equipment selection.
Electrical safety
Equipment is specified against the electrical safety standards applicable to the installation jurisdiction — for example CSA and UL requirements in Canadian and North American projects, or IEC requirements internationally.
Rotating machines & enclosures
Motor selection addresses the machine and enclosure standards relevant to the duty and environment — such as NEMA or IEC machine standards and ingress-protection ratings appropriate to the installation conditions.
Energy storage installation
BESS projects are engineered against the energy storage installation and fire protection requirements applicable at the site, in coordination with the authority having jurisdiction.
How certification evidence is provided
Certification in industrial projects attaches to specific equipment configurations and installations — not to a company in the abstract. MotiraTech provides project-relevant documentation through the delivery process.
During engineering and procurement
Equipment certifications, test reports and conformity documentation for the specific configuration being supplied are compiled and reviewed as part of project documentation before delivery.
On request
